Milagres PU College, Hampankatta, inaugurated its Junior Red Cross unit and anti-drug club for the academic year 2022-23 on September 30. Around 120 students gathered in the PU College auditorium.Sr Aileen Mathias, vice principal, Athena college of Nursing was the chief guest, and she inaugurated the Junior Red Cross unit and Anti-Drug Club by lighting the lamp. In the inaugural address, she gave an insight into the origin of the Red Cross, the fundamental principles and various activities to be conducted by the Junior Red Cross Unit and Anti-Drug Club. Shé said today's youth are the driving force of tomorrow and they should be aware of the objectives of the red cross unit: first aid, organ donation, and being away from drugs.
