“Clubs are the instruments through which one can find their hidden talent” The inauguration of various clubs of Milagres PU College for the academic year 2024-25 was held on Friday 12 July 2024. Mrs Farida Goveas, Professor,Roshni Nilaya was the chief guest of the programme. Principal Mr. Melwyn Vas was also present at the inauguration. The ceremony started with invocation to Almighty God. It was followed by the lighting of the lamp, and the chief guest declaring ‘Club Inaugurated’. The club in-charges along with the club Secretary displayed the posters on various clubs. The various clubs inaugurated were- NSS Literary Club Commerce Club Antidrug and Red Cross Club Cultural Club Eco Club Women Cell Addressing the gathering the chief guest said, development of personality does not take place within the four walls of the class. Clubs are giving a very good opportunity to exhibit the talents of the students. She insisted the student not to hide talents and to be aware of inner strength given to them by God. She also asked the students to give their best in every activities of the school. In his message Principal, motivated the students to participate in the various clubs of their interest and to exhibit their hidden talents. The club Secretaries of the various clubs introduced their respective clubs. The 1st PUC toppers of last year were felicitated during the programme.
